Roast your own coffee beans



Crema Coffee, Glasgow
March & September 2025





In early 2025, coffee enthusiasts gathered for unique farm-to-cup experiences that delved deep into the craft behind every brew. The day began with an introduction to the Slow Food Coffee Coalition and Crema’s commitment to ethical, high-quality sourcing. Participants explored the journey of Brazilian and Ethiopian beans, witnessing their transformation from raw green to golden roast.


A sensory tasting session sharpened palates, while a lively coffee quiz added a fun twist. Guided by expert Sohaib, attendees sampled freshly roasted beans, discovering nuanced aromas and flavours. As a final takeaway, each guest left with their own bag of hand-roasted coffee—ready to continue the adventure at home. It was more than a tasting; it was a celebration of mindful, meaningful coffee.

Enjoyed and requested so much, we ran a second session in September.
